Style Posts & LOOKBOOK

Hello all!

This is our first style post! Our style posts will mainly be in the form of lookbooks, Outfits Of The Day/Week and hauls. Our wardrobe consists of affordable pieces, mainly from op shops or chain stores. We then take these pieces and create outfits that reflect our style in our own unique way, perfect for our student lifestyle! Since we are full-time students and have bills to pay there is only so much we can spend, but we make the most of it! We hope these posts inspire you.

Without furtherado, here is our first lookbook from Claire!

Over the year I have become obsessed with high-waisted garments to the point that I will not wear a pair of pants, skirt or shorts if they aren't at least just under my bellybutton. These shorts I purchased recently and I LOVE them. So much so, that I have them in blue and black (seen in here and here paired with a blue/chambray button up shirt).

These shorts are are the Audrey shorts (perfection just from the name) from factorie and are $30.

While they don't have pockets, I love how comfortable they feel. A pair of high-waisted shorts I had last year were just way too tight and not comfortable in the least. These are short enough without having my backside hang out and the fit is just perfect. Here I have a size 10.

#Classic Claire

This tie up sleeveless button up is sheer. I paired it with a matching black bra underneath and was $4 from Savers (Op Shop).
(Shirts like this are my favourite thing)

Double Denim

Striped T-Shirt and Supré demin jacket are both from an op shop.

This jacket I use for most outfits. It goes with basically everything and it's very handy to have on hand, especially since Melbourne weather is so unpredictable.

Je ne parle pas franҫais

The sleeveless turtleneck style is new to me but something I have been wanting to try for a while now. When I saw this one at Savers for $5 I fell in love.

I just cannot resist nautical stripes.

Baby, We're The New Romantics

These fake pearls I found at an op shop 5 years ago. I like how they bring uniqueness to any outfit. This soft grey t-shirt is super comfortable and is from the Basics range at H&M which opened in Melbourne this year. It's $9.95 and can be purchased here.

I have been wearing this red bandanna everyday for the past 2 months.
I just love the cute and retro look it adds. This one is from the Canteen Bandanna Day appeal.

I had so much fun with this post and I hope you enjoy it as much as I do. This post is also great for you all to get an idea of my style that you will see a lot more of in the future! Don't forget to leave a comment, share with your friends etc, and I'll see you again soon :)

Stay fabulous,
C.
